On April 24, students from Honokaa High School Health Services Core Pathway visited Hawaii Community College’s Nursing Program. During their visit they got to do a simulation on how to treat a patient.
This school year is the first year that Honokaa High School Career and Technical Education Department has offered the opportunity for students to learn and gain skills in the medical field. Next school year, the dept is offering an advanced course called Clinical Health for students who wants to further their studies in this pathway.
