Lehua Kaulukukui of Kamehameha Schools will offer an information session about the Pauahi Keiki Scholars program at Hawaii Montessori School in Waimea at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26.
If your child is of Hawaiian ancestry and was born in years 2009, 2010 and 2011 they may qualify for financial assistance through Pauahi Keiki Scholars. PKS assists families with tuition costs so that they can send their children to a preschool from Kamehameha Schools’ Collaborating Schools list.
Hawaii Montessori Schools offers high quality early childhood education programs for children ages 15 months-6 years old. Through the assistance of grants from foundations such as the County of Hawaii Non-Profit Grant in Aid, the G. N. Wilcox Trust, the McInerny Foundation, and the Samuel N. and Mary Castle Foundation, Hawaii Montessori Schools is able to offer Financial Aid to qualifying families. HMS is accredited with the National Association for the Education of Young Children and is fully licensed with the Department of Human Services.
