Gnocchi making class at Mala’ai with Chef Dan Bobo is Aug. 25

The Mala’ai Culinary Garden at Waimea Middle School will offer a gnocchi making class with Chef Dan Bobo, from 11 :30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., on Aug. 25. Chef Bobo will teach how to make a few different kinds of gnocchi, pronounced “NYOH-kee,” including a gluten free one. He’ll pair the delicious little Italian dumplings that have become popular once again with some simple sauces and that attendees will be able to sample with a salad at the end of class. Chef Bobo and his wife, Clare, own Island Thyme Gourmet catering company. This was one of Chef Bobo’s most popular classes at Waimea Community Education.
