Suzy Switzer will offer a Waimea Community Education workshop, “Communication that Works,” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 23. The workshop will help sharpen communication skills with family, friends, co-workers and others. Included themes are listening skills, question asking and answering, and other communication topics. The workshop also will offer an opportunity for participants to see themselves on video.
A recent Waimea resident, Switzer has worked with astronaut Neil Armstrong on a video for the President’s Commission, “On the Moon, Mars, and Beyond.” She has worked with symphony orchestras, international corporations, accounting firms, health care organizations, law firms, and other groups. Switzer has also served on the New Mexico Governor’s Council on Film and Media Industries, was an advisor with the Swiss Consulting Group, served as public relations director for the Society of the Sacred Heart, U.S. Province, and was editor of “Heart” magazine.
