Slow Foods Hawaii visits Honokaa High School

On Feb. 26, Clare Bobo of Slow Foods Hawaii spoke to several career technical education classes (Natural Resource Pathway core, Natural Resources Production, Public and Human Services Pathway Core) at Honokaa High and Intermediate. During her presentation, the students learned about the goals and history of the organization Slow Foods. She also demonstrated fresh eggs harvested from Honokaa High School’s farm versus store bought mainland eggs.
