John Mood will present “Several New Ethnobotanical Crops from Peru,” from 6 to 8 p.m., on Monday, Nov. 25, at the Laupahoehoe Community Public Charter School for Practical Agriculture.
Several potential crops for Hawaii will be discussed based on recent experience growing them on the Hamakua coast. The presentation will be followed by a open question period on any tropical tree crop subject the audience might have.
There will be a $10 materials fee for adults, $5 for seniors (60 and up) and students (with valid student ID). Please arrive 15 minutes early to register. Preregistration is not required.
