Ohrlando’s Chamber Ensemble will continue their series classical chamber music concerts with two events — Friday, Nov. 29, at 6 p.m., at the Waikoloa Community Church and Dec. 8, at 6:30 p.m., at St. James Episcopal Church in Waimea. Ohrlando from Kailua-Kona will play the oboe and the bassoon. His partner will be Mary Collier from Kailua-Kona on violin, Kathy Fraser from Waikoloa on violoncello and his wife Ursula Hesse at the harpsichord.
The concert is dedicated to music from the Baroque period and the early Classical period called Rokoko. Included will be works by Handel, Gluck, Haydn and more. The admission is free, though donations are appreciated.
