The Kamuela Hongwanji Mission will be hosting the Buddhist Study Center Satellite Summer Session on Friday, July 25, at 7 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Kamuela Hongwanji is located at 65-1110 Mamalahoa Highway on Church Row in Kamuela.
Featured speaker will be Rev. Marvin Harada of the Orange County Buddhist Temple. His topic will be “Resolving Life’s Problems Through Buddhism.” Rev. Harada is the minister at Orange County Buddhist Temple where he has been serving since 1986. He is also co-director for the Center for Buddhist Education for the Buddhist Churches of America. He is the author of “Discovering Buddhism in Everyday Life.”
