Kahilu Theatre masquerade ball, featuring Michael Feinstein, is Friday, Dec. 6, at the Hilton Waikoloa Grand Ballroom. A benefit for the Kahilu Theatre’s artistic and educational programs, the celebration will start at 6 p.m. with cocktails and a silent auction. Dinner starts at 7 p.m. and will be followed by Michael Feinstein’s performance, then a dance with DJ from 9 p.m. until midnight.
Through Feinstein’s live performances, recordings, film and television appearances, and his songwriting, he is an all-star force in American music. Feinstein is renowned for his commitment to celebrating America’s popular song and preserving its legacy for the next generation. He serves on the Library of Congress’ National Recording Preservation Board, an organization dedicated to ensuring the survival, conservation and increased public availability of America’s sound recording heritage.
Tickets can be purchased on line at www.kahilutheatre.org. Individual tickets are $150 for Kahilu members and $185 for non-members. Sponsored tables can be purchased for $3,000, $5,000 and $10,000. Dancing party tickets are $50. Attire is “Gatsby Glam” – guests are invited to be creative with their costumes.
