Gavin Harrison will offer two events in North Hawaii — “Walking Meditation in the Wild” at ‘Iole in Kapaau, on April 6 and “Awakening to the Truth of Who We Are: A Gathering with Gavin Harrison” at the Waimea Events Salon, in Waimea, on April 7.
Participants in “Walking Meditation in the Wild” will meet at ‘Iole, the Historic Bond Homestead from 8:30 to 10 a.m., on April 6, for the monthly silent hikes that meet on first Saturday of each month, rain or shine (unless weather particularly inclement). Different route each month, and not strenuous.
Bring a hat, hiking shoes/boots, sunscreen, bottled water, a towel for rest stops, rain gear, mosquito repellent and small hiking backpack. Suggested donation is $10-$15. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 889-5151.
“Awakening to the Truth of Who We Are: A Gathering with Gavin Harrison” at the Waimea Events Salon, Waimea, 3:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m., April 7, is a sitting and walking meditation, with dialogue/inquiry.
