Girl Scout: making memories, making friends and making a difference

Girl Scouts is a volunteer driven organization where adult volunteers help girls build leadership skills while having fun. Through scouting, girls in grades K-12 have the freedom to discover what they’re passionate about, connect with others to build lasting friendships, and take action to make a difference in their communities.

But sadly, there is only one Girl Scout troop serving all of North Hawaii. In order to offer more area Girl Scout programs, the group needs adult volunteers. As a volunteer you will positively impact girls by helping them develop skills to better navigate their futures and in the process you’ll reap the rewards of knowing that you are making a difference in the lives of the girls that will become our leaders. If you are interested in scouting for a girl in your life or in becoming an adult volunteer, contact Marci at mamanker@girlscouts-hawaii.org or 966-9376.
