The first annual Bacardi Bash is from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday, March 15, at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel luau grounds. The event will feature Kohala coast chefs and mixologists as they take on the challenge to showcase a randomly selected protein item and Bacardi brand spirit to create a pairing that will be featured and served at their booth. Attendees can vote for their favorites for the “People’s Choice Award” and special guests will select the “Critic’s Choice Award” at the end of the Bacardi Bash. The event is presented in partnership with Young’s Market Co. of Hawaii and Barcardi’s portfolio of brands such as Grey Goose Vodka, Bombay Sapphire Gin, and Dewar’s Scotch.
