Welcoming all to Waikoloa

Sculptor Ed Vasquez created a “Season’s Greetings” sign for Waikoloa Village as a donation from the Waikoloa Senior Citizens Club. The plywood sign, which was made with letters in reflective tape so it glows in the dark, was installed on a kiawe tree on Waikoloa Road on Dec. 21. Vasquez is the creator of the famous T-Rex dinosaur along Queen Kaahumanu Highway. He said the sign is “dedicated to the imagination of the children.” (PHOTO COURTESY OF ED VASQUEZ)
