Ohrlando’s Chamber Ensemble continues its series of Classical Chambermusic Concerts at 4 p.m., Sunday, March 2, in the Kahilu Theatre lobby in Waimea, and at 5 p.m., Saturday, March 8, at the Waikoloa Community Church. Roland Maurer on oboe and bassoon, his wife Ursula Hesse on harpsichord and Barbara Coffman on flute will offer a special program. The harpsichord is well-known as an instrument from the Baroque and Early Classical period. Besides traditional compositions, the musicians will also introduce the audience to the sound of the harpsichord in modern pieces from the 20th and even from the 21st century. Admission is free. Donations are welcome.
