About 45 runners and walkers attended the Second Annual Father’s Day 4.5 kilometer Fun Run/Walk on June 15 at 8 a.m. sponsored by the Waimea Preservation Association.

The almost three-mile walk/run began at the Waimea Preservation Association cottage, just off Mamalahoa Highway and Lindsey Road near the Firehouse Gallery and ended at Spencer House.

The Spencer House festivities included refreshments, finishing prizes and door prizes, including donated gift certificates from Ace Hardware, Lilikoi Cafe, Luna restaurant and Anna Ranch.
