The Na Mele Makana Slack Key Concert Series brings some of the biggest names in Hawaiian music to the Honokaa People’s Theatre stage. Hosted by Grammy-winner George Kahumoku, the Nov. 15 show features special guest Martin Pahinui along with Brad Bordessa and Anuhea Lim. Bringing the community and our island’s visitors together to enjoy an evening of traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music, the show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Honoka‘a People’s Theatre.
Known as Hawaii‘s Renaissance Man, George Kahumoku is a farmer, author, visual artist and bronze sculptor, as well as an award-winning performer who charms his audiences with his down-home style and warm aloha. Add in the slack key styling and golden voice of Martin Pahinui and audiences will hear some of the best music Hawai‘i has to offer.
