Winners in the No. 5 roping class of the ACTRA state finals are, in random order, Alex Gomes, Brian DeMattos, Kahiau Onaka, M.P. Kamakana, Willie Stevens, Ty Kauai, Dale Viloria, Keola Loando, Ken Miranda, Ka'ohu Ha'alilio, Sam Auld, Keola Loando, Chelsey Fuerte, Marty Souza, Jason Cardoza, Hailey Onaka, Bronson Branco, Mike Smith, Cliff Lorenzo, Walter Gomes, Bulla Onaka, jerimiah Benevidas, and Allen Gomes. Ethan Awa is about to rope the heels of the white steer that his partner, Lexis Andrade has already roped in the two man team roping No. 4 class at the state finals of the American Cowboy Team Roping Association held at Parker arena this past weekend. Winning teams in the No 4 roping at the state finals of the American Cowboy Team Roping Association are from eighth place to first place, but not in pictured in order are: Eighth: Chad Serion and Roger Kaiwi, seventh: Ho'okela Loando and Josh Gomes, sixth: Daniel Miranda and Travis Gomes, fifth place: Cliff Lorenzo and Allen Gomes, fourth: Fred Rice and Kelly Mideiros, third: Kahiau Onaka and Lexis Andrade, 2nd Evan Manoha and Ethan Awa, and 1st place went to the team of Ethan Awa and Lexis Andrade. 94 ropers entered making up 160 two man teams in this class and nearly as many in the other classes based on skill level.
