During the month of November, the Waimea Arts Council will present a member show titled “Reflections and Reflecting,” from Oct. 30 to Nov. 23, in the Firehouse Gallery in Waimea. The art on display will include photographs, paintings, or other media that show reflections as well as work that inspires reflection or illustrates someone reflecting. Interpretations may be literal or metaphorical and artists have been encouraged to use their imagination.

Come in and see how our member artists have interpreted these meanings in their works of art. The Firehouse Gallery is located in the red building across from Waimea Chevron, at the stoplight at 67-1202 Mamalahoa Hwy. and Lindsey Road in Waimea. Parking is in the rear of the complex. Hours are usually 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday. Call 887-1052 to confirm. Visit the website WaimeaArtsCouncil.org.
